Greyson's First Day in Nursery

I have been waiting for this day for so long.....

Greyson is officially 18 months and can enter our church's nursery. i have two whole hours where i am free to read, teach, and am only responsible for myself. I can smile and adore other children, knowing i have no worries.

Greyson had no problem when i sat him between lexi and henry. There was play-doh. What more does a kid need?

Favorite Garren sayings from General Conference!

I just love pajama church! Garren made some great commets and i wanted to share them.

I loved when he named "bingo" words that pres. Erying was saying, and then said "he just said free space"

I love when he was looking at the mormon tabernacle choir and said "Hey look, there is Mace Windu!"

I love when he was eating pops and making them say, "don't eat me" as he told them "i gotta have my pops"

And after Jeffery R Hollands talk i told him he needs to read his Book of Mormon Stories and Then pray to ask God if it is true, so he can know for himself that it is true,

Later i found him in his room and his Book of Mormon stories was out and open and i asked him about it. He told me "The church and all the stuff in our home was true" I asked him how he knew. And he said "He told me" I asked who? He said "Jesus"


I love watching General Conference and I Love feeling the spirit together. I am so glad that Garren is sensitive to the spirit and has a testiomony of his own.

Going on a Bear Hunt...

At preschool today Mrs Chen, garren's wonderful preschool teacher, announced they were going on a bear hunt, a new song they are singing. To which by son replies,

"Good thing i brought my gun, chook, chook (garren's sound affect as he cocked his finger gun)"

First Day of School! First Day of School!

Garren did sooo awesome! i am so proud of him. We got there early, so he raced around with the other kids. Then some other mom were getting group shots and he said, ' I;ll see you later mom" and took off, and i was like really. Like that, but at the same time super proud. I was there all day with him, (it's a one where you help work it) and he was fine with out me. I tried to hang back and not cramp his style. He was so great. He listened, for as much as i can except a 4 yr old boy to listen. And he loved learning and being busy. He had a great time playing and singing and laughing and can't wait to go back. And i did great too. No crying. Grady says it doesn't count. He says wait till Wednesday when you drop him off and leave. But i don't think so...I already have a list of things that need to get done...
